LHH Recruitment Solutions is searching for a part-time, contract, Accounting Specialist, to work in the office for a company in downtown Richmond, Virginia and parking is provided.
A professional office environment is seeking a part-time, contract, Accounting Specialist with strong COUPA experience to support accounting operations for a one-year assignment. This role is ideal for someone who can quickly step in, manage accounts payable responsibilities, and assist with light accounts receivable and collections work. Assignment Details: This is a one-year, part-time contract role with potential for full-time, contract-to-hire consideration after the contract period. Schedule: Approximately 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with flexibility between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM. Hours may increase during month-end close. Key Requirements: • COUPA experience required; must be able to hit the ground running • Accounts payable experience, including invoice processing • Understanding of GAAP • NetSuite experience is a plus • Degree not required Responsibilities: • Process approximately 200 accounts payable invoices per month • Assist with light accounts receivable tasks • Support collections activity as needed • Contribute to month-end accounting support Work Arrangement: In-office role with parking provided. Contract pay is $25 to $30 per hour. Interview Process: Video interview. Additional Requirements: Background check and drug screening required.
