Are you energetic, creative, and passionate about enriching the lives of seniors? We are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Activities Assistant to join our team and help create meaningful experiences for our residents every day.

Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $16.50–$18.00 per hour

The Activities Assistant works closely with the Activities Director to develop, coordinate, and implement engaging programs that enhance the physical, social, emotional, educational, and spiritual well-being of our residents. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with older adults and creating fun, meaningful opportunities for engagement.

• Assist in planning and implementing a monthly activity calendar that includes physical, social, educational, entertainment, religious, and resident-requested programs.
• Conduct resident surveys to identify interests and gather ideas for future activities.
• Collect and evaluate feedback from residents and participants to improve programming.
• Assist with training and coordinating activity volunteers and event participants.
• Escort and supervise residents during community outings and special events.
• Develop inclusive activities that encourage participation from residents of varying abilities.
• Promote and advertise upcoming events and activities throughout the facility.
• Coordinate transportation arrangements for resident outings and events.
• Assist with decorating the facility for holidays, seasonal celebrations, and special occasions.
• Maintain activity records and documentation as required.
• Follow all facility policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Management Team.

• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Positive attitude with a genuine desire to work with seniors.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn facility software and phone systems.
• Experience in activities, recreation, customer service, healthcare, or senior living is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
