We are seeking a "Superstar" Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team for Wednesdays and/or Fridays. This role is designed for a proactive, mid-level clinician with at least two years of experience who thrives in a collaborative setting. You will perform thorough health assessments and provide a wide range of hygiene services, playing a critical role in developing and communicating treatment plans for our diverse patient base.

Job Description Comprehensive Assessment: Evaluate teeth, bone, and periodontal tissue; document abnormalities and communicate findings clearly to the dentist and patient.
Preventive & Periodontal Care: Perform prophylaxis for patients of all ages, scaling and root planing, hand scaling, rubber cup polishing, and sealant applications.
Advanced Imaging: Expose high-quality radiographs, including panoramic X-rays and Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT).
Patient Education: Provide detailed oral hygiene instructions, nutritional counseling, and explain the link between oral health and overall wellness.
Clinical Procedures: Administer fluoride treatments, Arestin therapy, and in-office whitening procedures.
Digital Integration: Utilize iTero Lumina scanning for Invisalign workups and take traditional impressions for night guards as needed.
Compliance & Safety: Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA, OSHA, and healthcare infection prevention protocols to ensure a safe clinical environment.
part-time $60 - $70 per hour

Shift & Schedule This position is available for Wednesdays and/or Fridays only, with the following office hours:
Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: (Office open 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM)
Saturday & Sunday: Closed
Licensure: Active New York State Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license.
Certifications: Current CPR/BLS certification and Anesthesia Certification.
Infection Control: Valid Infection Control Certification and a strong understanding of OSHA regulatory compliance.
Experience: A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a professional dental setting.
Technical Proficiency: Competence in digital radiography (including Pan/CBCT) and accurate patient charting.
Interpersonal Skills: Ability to create a comfortable environment for patients and communicate effectively with the clinical team.
Laser Therapy: Ability to perform laser-assisted scaling and root planing.
Advanced Scanning: Experience specifically with iTero Lumina scanners.
Patient Management: Experience in proactive clinical scheduling and complex treatment plan development.
